DOODLE FOR GOOGLE PROJECT
Doodle for Google is an annual contest open to students in grades K-12. Students are invited to create their own Google Doodle for the chance to have it featured on Google.com, as well as win some great scholarships and tech packages for their schools.
I learned that it is hard to think of little things and have inspiration through put the whole doodle process. Creating a word web was helpful for thinking of simple ways I show kindness even though I didn't end up using many of the ideas. Mi=-project critiques are important so you can get more inspiration from peers. These critiques can also help you fix anything before you get too deep in the project. If I was to do this again I would challenge myself to not only doodle everything on illustrator but also color/fill everything on the computer.
LOGO PROJECT
To create this logo project first we had to sketch out simple ideas on paper. Then we took those ideas to illustrator and made variations. We then chose a couple of our favorites to put on a poster for our "clients". Last we chose the best and put it on merchandise.
It is relevant to have an eye catching logo because if you don't people wont be interested in what ever you're advertising. If you're trying to sell something your logo/advertisement isn't bright and interesting then it'll be harder to sell that project because people won't see it/ be drawn to it.
It is important to consider a classic design because it can bring it all together/make it professional. I learned how to use a bunch of different tools and just over all use illustrator.
